We want to go for an earthy indie look, with boys who have a sense of rebelliousness and living on the edge. This will attract the target audience further because the band members will be more connected and down to earth for the audience to relate to.

We chose Ashen as our lead guitarist because we thought that he had great energy and would be able to carry the group in terms of energy and fun.

We also decided to have Alec on the drums and Jonty playing the bass as they both have the look we are going for and they also contributed to the energetic and fun group dynamic that we want to have on the shoot.

Decision making
It took us quite a while to decide who would be playing which instrument which is why we held an audition, where we were able to see the different guys in different positions. This was very useful and allowed us to make our final decision.
Casting the Fairy:
We took a few photos of the two girls that we want as our fairy and we did a test shoot with both of them.

Both these test shoots were very useful to see how they work with the camera, and respond to staying focused when other people are around. This will be key when we are filming on set with other people watching her.
