Today we made our story board for our music video. We decided to work our story board of off our timeline so that we can have clear timings for each shot.
A storyboard by definition is:
Our group was given empty storyboard sheets which has a box for the drawn picture of what we want infront of the camera, and the box next to it where we could put relevant information to the shot i.e Shot number, location, timings, action, shot/movement, sound, edit transition and lighting. Because we had the the timings already from the timeline, as well as the order i wrote out all of the timing and shot numbers on each slide so that we knew exactly which shot we each had to draw therefore there would be no confusion and we would avoid two people doing the same shots.
We had 26 moments that we wanted to draw out and have on our story board therefore, because we are 4 people in our group, we divided up the story board so that we each had 6 moments to draw out and write about and then whoever finished first or had the time to, would do the 2 extra ones. This worked very well as we worked efficiently and managed to finish our story board within one lesson and it was still very detailed and accurate.
